　　JDSU為目前全球最大光纖零件供應(yīng)商，光通訊領(lǐng)域巨頭之一。

　　JDSU成立于1981年，經(jīng)過20余年的發(fā)展，不斷推行收購的戰(zhàn)略，逐步成為全球光電企業(yè)的龍頭老大就離不開其一系列的收購活動(dòng)。據(jù)不完成統(tǒng)計(jì)，從1999年收購 Ramar Corporation起，在到2004年5年左右的時(shí)間內(nèi)，JDSU至少進(jìn)行了15次收購，其中1999年4次，2000年3次，2001年2次，2002年3次，2003年1次，2004年到目前已進(jìn)行過2次收購，以后還要收購哪些公司不得而知。 　　

　　通過收購，JDSU的光器件幾乎覆蓋光通信領(lǐng)域的所有光器件，從無源到有源，從芯片到模塊，發(fā)展成為光電器件的大哥大。2003年，JDSU位置第一，從現(xiàn)有的數(shù)據(jù)顯示，JDSU仍穩(wěn)置世界第一的地位。
